Our Story
Where It All Began
The By Grace Through Lisa Foundation Network was created with a simple belief: no one should struggle alone. What began as a small effort to support individuals and families in our community has grown into a mission to bring practical help, comfort, and dignity to people right where they are.
We saw how overwhelming daily tasks can become during difficult seasons — especially for those facing illness, disability. So we stepped in with something meaningful: free, in-home support that eases the load and reminds people they are seen, valued, and cared for.
From laundry to basic cleaning, every service we offer is provided at no cost and delivered with respect. Our volunteers and partners work together to meet needs in a way that honors each person's privacy and home.
Our story is still being written, one household at a time. And we are grateful for every opportunity to serve with grace, faith, and love.
The Inspiration
Lisa's Story
On January 30, 2021, Lisa’s life changed dramatically. At just 45 years old, she suffered a sudden and severe medical emergency — a massive cerebrovascular accident that required emergency neurosurgery. Her chances of surviving the first day were only 50%. Lisa’s recovery was marked by profound medical challenges. She endured intracranial bleeding, significant swelling, and underwent a decompressive craniectomy, followed later by cranial reconstruction. After six months of hospitalization and intensive rehabilitation, Lisa returned home with permanent left‑sided hemiplegia, wheelchair dependence, and cognitive challenges affecting judgment and executive function. From this difficult journey, the By Grace Through Lisa Foundation Network was born — an organization rooted in lived experience and built to serve others. Today, the foundation is dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, stroke survivors, dementia and Alzheimer’s patients, veterans, and anyone in need of advocacy and practical assistance. Lisa’s story stands as a powerful reminder that even in the face of life‑altering adversity, resilience and hope can rise.

Meet The Founder
Julie's Journey
Julie’s journey is a testament to God’s grace, resilience, and the calling he places on our lives long before we understand it. When she immigrated to the United States 23 years ago from Canada, she arrived with a heart for hospitality and a prayer that God would guide her steps. Over time, He led her into nursing, deepening her gift for caring for people in their most vulnerable moments. A decade ago, Julie stepped out in faith and built her first housekeeping and janitorial business from the ground up. What began as a way to support her family quickly became a ministry — a way to bring peace, dignity, and comfort into the homes of people who needed it most. In 2021, she expanded again into a secondary venture, stepped into nonprofit leadership, and became the only cleaning company in the Permian Basin partnered with Cleaning for a Reason, blessing cancer patients with free cleanings during some of the hardest seasons of their lives. But God had even more in store. As Julie walked beside her sister through ongoing health battles, she witnessed the quiet suffering so many families endure behind closed doors. She saw how illness steals time, energy, and hope. She saw how many people fall through the cracks — not because they don’t deserve help, but because life has left them overwhelmed. In that pain, God revealed her deeper calling: to serve those who feel unseen, unsupported, and forgotten. And Julie answered that call with her whole heart. She not only built businesses — she built opportunities. Julie created programs to empower young women and single mothers to rebuild their confidence, step into meaningful work, and create a future they could be proud of. She designed a pathway specifically for single moms who wanted a career but were limited by childcare and rigid work hours. Through flexible scheduling, hands‑on training, and unwavering encouragement, Julie helped women rediscover their worth and step into independence with dignity. Her compassion became her ministry. Her leadership became her testimony. Her work became an extension of God’s love. Julie believes that service is worship. She believes God uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things. And she believes that when you lift someone up, you honor the One who lifted you first. She is more than a business owner. She is a mother, a mentor, a servant leader, and a woman who turned her trials into a God‑given purpose that now touches countless lives. Julie’s story is proof that when God calls you, He equips you — and He turns your journey into a legacy of love, empowerment, and hope.
